Rolling on beefy Specialized 650B x 3.0-inch tires that are mounted to 29mm-wide rims, you'll experience a higher level of traction and control. But it's not just about fat tires. An M5 aluminum frame, dialed geometry, and 135mm of travel make this Stumpy an absolute riot to ride. The Comp packs a 150mm-travel RockShox Revelation RL fork, reliable SRAM hydraulic brakes and an efficient SRAM 1 x 11-speed drivetrain. Complete with Specialized's Command Post IRcc, the Comp is ready to get out there and roll!

Best bike I ever owned. I worry less about establishing my "line" on the trail. The wide tires give me the confidence to roll over rocks, not just between them. I inflate them to 20psi, provides enough traction for me. The SRAM Guide R brakes do a good job of stopping. The suspension is quiet (no "squish" sound), does great job of absorbing bumps. Pedaling uphill is efficient, especially when the fork and shock are "locked out". Shifting is crisp. My first bike with a 1x11 drivetrain. I don't miss the triple chainring--the 11-speed cassette covers my needs.
